Alcoholic drinks cost a lot and there is no need to serve them before the ceremony as well. Instead of having the invitees seated and served plated meals, make plates of finger foods and install stations that will help the guests choose their desired food. Install for instance a risotto station, which could have dishes containing various flavors. You could look for recipes that contain mushrooms, peas or lemon with asparagus, thus satisfying all tastes. Then you could have a salad station and here you will be able to improvise. Vegetables can be combined in infinite ways and it will be hard not to find the right assortment. The ingredients aren’t very expensive and the major advantage is that you can serve the invitees with many types of salad, which means that they will have more choices.

As for sweets, candies, cookies and chocolates look wonderful on tables and you can offer them as wedding favors as well, thus saving some money and pleasing the guests with tasty treats. Cookies, ice cream, passion fruit mousse or cheesecakes can be served instead of the traditional wedding cake, so impressive in both appearance and price.
